But now Daisy Ridley has shown she also won't put up with body-shamers. Daisy had posted this meme on her Instagram page, which criticises her body image.

The meme included the speech bubble next to an image of her in character as Rey, stating: "I can't believe the unrealistic expectations I'm setting for young girls. Who cast me anyway? Don't they know real women have curves?"

Daisy responded with the caption: "'Real women' are all shapes and sizes, all ethnicities, all levels of brave, have families, don't have families. I am a 'real woman' like every other woman in this world."

And now she has shared this important message in its place. In the open letter she, quite rightly, slams body-shamers and those hating on other women. And she insists she won't apologise for how she looks.
